The Women's Sculling Development Camps have been established to provide young,
talented, tall athletes with potential early in their sculling careers and put
them in an environment where they can learn, grow and represent the USA in
suitably competitive domestic or international training and racing
opportunities. This will better position them to understand the process
behind contending for a World Championship.
Appropriate introduction to the stresses of
high performance training and racing, using a framework which encompasses the
physiological, technical and psychological skills required for success at the
highest level of rowing. The emphasis of this camp is on education,
enthusiasm and development.
On
water sessions will start with hands on instruction emphasizing the
fundamentals of grip, hand skills and posture. Through the progression of
the camp, these sessions will become more competitive in nature with a focus on
execution.

are two camp locations:
East Coast: New Milford, CT
West Coast: Seattle, WA
