2010 Jr Men Standards by Age

 

Sweep Selection Camp

 
Dates: Monday, June 14-Saturday, June 26--Phase One
  Sunday, June 26-Sunday, July 11--Phase Two
  Naming Date: Monday, July 12

Location: Mercer Lake, NJ; housing for phase one at Princeton University; housing for phase two at the Peddie School; housing of the named team (until departure for Europe) at the Peddie School.  Meals at Princeton for phase one and at Peddie for phase two.

Cost:  Phase One: $1,050.
          Phase Two: $1,050
          Phase Three: $500.

This invitation-only camp provides a development opportunity for high school boys who have birthdays in 1992 or later, have a 2K erg score of 6:20 or faster for 1992, 6:28 or faster for 1993 and 6:40 or faster for 1994 or younger and have demonstrated the ability to compete at a high level.

This camp will select the U.S. Junior National Team athletes who will compete in the M8+ and M4+ at the 2010 World Junior Championships August 5-8 in Racice, Czech Republic. Invitations will begin being sent out in April.

Sculling Selection Camp

Dates/Costs TBD, Princeton National Rowing Association, West Windsor, N.J.

This invitation-only camp for the selection of the M4x provides a development opportunity for high school boys who have birthdays in 1992 or later and have demonstrated the ability to compete at a high level.

This camp will select the four U.S. Junior National Team athletes who will compete in the M4x at the 2010 World Junior Championships August 5-8 in Racice, Czech Republic. Invitations will begin being sent out in April.

Four additional athletes will be named to the CanAmMex Team and will represent the U.S. in the sculling events at the CanAmMex Regatta.
